Charitable Ventures are those activities that give back to our passions primarily in education and economic development.
Current Charitable Ventures:
The Ohio University connection starts with the College of Business and its Sales Centre and Delta Sigma Pi student business fraternity. From there, it expands into the College of Public Administration’s Entrepreneurship Centre and the College of Communication’s Information & Technology Services Department.
The nationally recognized leader in elevating Sales as a recognized profession. As a member of the Executive Advisor y Board since its inception in 2004, GAK3 founded the Coach & Candidate Mentoring Program and sponsors the “More than Kaple-able” portfolio competition. GAK3 is responsible for developing the Centre’s regional chapter network to expand membership outreach and fundraising development.
In the fall of 2010, GAK3 was responsible for designing and delivering MKT 368 Entrepreneurial Sales, the first class of its type in the country to provide practical instruction in startup selling.

As alumni of this international business fraternity, GAK3 instituted a formal advisory board and initiated the start-up of a student member run business, DSP Professional Prolish. ProPolish offers the only on-location and drop-off shoe shine & repair service in the southeast Ohio region and is poised to expand its brand of professional offerings further. GAK3’s relationship with Ohio University’s Delta Sigma Pi is now 15 years strong and full of campus visits, monthly conference calls and strategic planning sessions.
